Someone from Canada hired me to fix transcripts that were produced by AI software, and it took me twice as long to edit than it would have taken me to transcribe from scratch. These issues usually mangle up the transcript, and sometimes fixing the errors is more time consuming than having a human do the work. Speakers who interrupt or talk over each other, Laughter or other background noises during the conversation that occur while someone else is speaking, People who talk quickly, stutter, or have a lot of "filler words" and verbal pauses, People with accents (even "light accents. HOWEVER, I don't recommend even bothering with AI software if the dialogue in your podcast feature any of the following: ![]() I haven't used Microsoft's software so I don't know how good the program is at this task. I'm a transcriptionist, and some of the non-human programs are getting pretty good.
